First grade teacher, Mrs Wolff organized a project for each student in her classroom to receive a free book once a month through donations from the Laquey Community and beyond. Mr. Wood’s class is talking about physical changes. When making slime when go through physical changes when you mix baking soda with water and it dissolves then add glue and create another physical change but then when we add the borax activator the chemical reaction emits heat, odor, and other properties of the once water/baking soda/glue.
The students have had a great time withy this hands on learning!!!

The weather isn’t cooperating for a bonfire, however we are still planning our pep rally. Drop in between 5pm-7pm. Come ‘fire up’ the boys. We will still have hotdogs, chips, cookies, water, and hot chocolate!

THANK YOU SO MUCH for all your patience and flexibility yesterday. The CBCO was short staffed and moving slowly so it really affected our schedule.
We had more donors sign up than either of our drives last year (almost 50!!), we didn't even get to 3 people on the schedule, and we still surpassed our goal of 20 viable donations. We collected 28 donations and those stay right here in our community. You guys are awesome.
Thanks again to everyone who donated, who helped put, and for helping the day go as smoothly as possible.
Thank you,
Katie Marlin
